Silicone Sealant RTV
GENERAL PURPOSE (GP), SINGLE COMPONENT, ROOM TEMPERATURE VULCANIZING (RTV), SILICONE SEALANT WITH EXCELLENT WEATHER RESISTANCE AND ADHESION PERFORMANCE TO VARIOUS BUILDING MATERIALS
This product is a single-component, acetoxy-curing, room temperature vulcanizing (RTV), low modulus silicone structural sealant that is easy to use, cures quickly, and has excellent weather aging resistance and excellent adhesion performance to various building materials. Used for bonding of aquariums, large glass panels, glass shower cabins and skylight glass. Also can be used to fill gaps between ceramics, tiles, vanities and cabinets.
The interface must be cleaned with solvents such as toluene or acetone and kept dry. During construction, the sealant should be used to completely fill the joints, ensuring adhesion on both sides. Apply tape to the areas which demand protection, and be careful not to let the tape touch the surface to be applied on. Edge trimming should be carried out immediately before the adhesive sets, in order to achieve a smooth appearance.
This product is of acid curing and has certain corrosiveness to materials such as concrete, iron and zinc. It should not be used for structural sealant applications, on damp surfaces, or on surfaces containing oil or diffuses. It is also not suitable for use in air-tight construction sites, and should not be applied when the substrate surface temperature is below 4°C

Store the product in the original sealed condition in a cool, dry place. Transport product should be carried
out according to the non-hazardous goods regulations.
Special attention should be paid to maintain good ventilation in the construction area of the glass adhesive, and the product should be placed out of reach of children to prevent ingestion, in case the uncured adhesive comes into contact with the eyes it should be promptly rinsed with plenty of clean water, and seek medical advice immediately.
